The birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad(Peace be Upon Him) is probably the most significant event of the year for his loving devotees. Our most Beloved’s(PBUH) arrival is full of miracles and blessings. Allah ordered for universal celebrations to honour the appearance of His most Beloved(PBUH) upon earth. Prophet Muahmmad(PBUH) used to celebrate His(PBUH) birthday by observing fast on Monday; the day He(PBUH) was born. All of the Sahaba(RA), Tabieen(RA) and Taba-Tabieen(RA) also made special arrangements for celebrations on this most blessed occasion in the history of humanity. Days long luxurious food festivals and get togethers were held to celebrate the birth of Rahmatullil Aalaamin(SAW). Poets and people of pen and paper used to recite odes, poems and other literary works in their Beloved Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) praise.
